PLC controls allow all machine settings to be handled through a 9 inch touch screen. Setups can be saved and retrieved, while a robust servo-controlled ball screw stroker assures precise positioning and consistent performance. Servo expansion ensures high precision and production.

Designed for low to medium production, the ARIHANT HT-CNC is the first competitively priced large part honing machine on the market. With a robust servo stroking system, the ARIHANT HT-CNC produces precise bore geometries on hydraulic tubes, oilfield components, multi-bore cylinder blocks, turbines and other similar heavy-duty applications.
Ideal for both job shops and repair facilities, the ARIHANT HT-CNC is available with a variable speed spindle motor, powerful enough to drive two-stage, metal-bond diamond abrasives for short cycle times with high accuracy and minimal labour. Screen size is 15 inch and PLC controlled with a large color screen touch for ease of use and rapid setup.
Built to handle large parts including multi-bore blocks, the system is designed for fast, efficient floor-to-floor cycles, setup and changeover in minutes, and fully enclosed CE-compliant operation.

Superfinish Machining of Cylindrical and Tapered Rollers
In centerless through-feed and plunge superfinishing machines, Arihant offers the highest quality at maximum throughput. The 1000 TF / 1200 TF series are high-precision, high-production centerless through-feed superfinishing machines. Depending on the workpiece dimensions, many parts per minute can be machined simultaneously, while meeting the highest demands regarding geometrical tolerances and surface qualities.
Features servo-driven rollers up to 1000 mm in length, quick change of stones and stone holders, and stone pressing/lift control via pneumatic proportional valves. Pressure setting is handled via the HMI program, with loading and unloading systems, a 3-mass oscillator, servo vertical NC-axis height adjustment, and up to 12 tool heads for optimal finishing results.
Typical workpieces include spherical rollers, cylindrical rollers, tapered rollers, piston pins, piston rods, and rollers. The machine supports fast changeover of less than 30 minutes and optional automatic loading and unloading systems with part storage capacity.

The Arihant Shaft-Fin Series entails a modern and trendsetting system with numerous improvements for prototypes. The new design ensures the highest surface quality while significantly reducing idle times. Extra-large, quickly changeable tape cassettes are easily accessible, and change-over times are reduced to an absolute minimum.
Intelligently designed tooling units permit the machining of shafts with journal distances of just 33 mm and lengths of up to 1600 mm. Flexible configuration options ensure that a broad range of part specifications can be met.

ARIHANT FLAT & SPHERICAL FINISHING MACHINES
Flexible superfinishing of flat, spherical and special surface geometries
The Arihant Flat-Fin with rotary transfer includes a centrally positioned column used to align the machining units. The rotary table, designed as a torque motor, can mount up to 6 workpiece spindles depending on the model.
The high momentum for rotary transfer allows auxiliary process time to be reduced to 0.8 seconds. Peak time-neutral loading and unloading is enabled because all stations work simultaneously. Typical transfer times are between 6 and 12 seconds, and double or triple machining operations allow two to three workpieces to be finished per transfer.
Spherical finishing machines are used for flexible superfinishing of geometries and surfaces of spherical parts, improving surface roughness, roundness, seating, friction and wear performance.
Where there is a demand for extreme precision, superfinishing achieves the highest form and surface qualities. The process eliminates amorphous surfaces, increases internal compressive tension, generates a metallurgically pure surface structure, minimizes friction, and increases load capacity and performance.
Spherical finishing advantages include minimisation of surface roughness, improved roundness, better seating for ball joints, and reduced friction and wear. Special machine features include dimensional stability, accuracy with minimum tool wear, up to two parallel machining processes, cycle time-neutral loading and unloading, positioning of the centre of the ball, and easy setup from all sides.

ARIHANT FINISHING ATTACHMENTS
Turn Conventional Machinery into High-Efficiency Superfinishing Cells
Super Finishing attachment devices offer the possibility of carrying out quality-improving or structuring precision surface-machining operations cost-effectively on a lathe, cylindrical grinding machine, or CNC machine.
Once the workpiece has been hard turned, the attachment device is clamped onto the supporting machine and superfinishing is carried out as a final operation. Depending on the device, oscillation frequency can be up to 2,000 double strokes per minute.
The workpiece is rotated and the attachment device is operated via the supporting machine, while the oscillation of the tool and the contact pressure are regulated by the control unit of the attachment device. All rotationally symmetrical workpieces of any hardness that can be fixed between spikes can be processed this way, including large calendar rollers in paper, textile, and plastics industries.
